"Poppies" is worked on natural Belgium linen in a brillant array of colors including reds, olives, dark green and brown. Unbelieveable easy to work, beginning stitches will do just fine. Detailed instructions and step by step photos; like having an assistant with every stitch. Long and short stitches fill the poppies, while a few French knots worked in black adore the center. The satin stitch is worked for the remaining areas then is outlined in stem stitch. Worked on a densely woven linen, a padded look is achieved without the effort. The embroidery kit will arrive with an unfinished hem that can be completed by you with either a straight hem, decorative stem stitch hem or hand drawn hem stitch (I have a video on YouTube on completing a hem stitch).
