Our "Trees" design is worked in beautiful earth tone hues of hazelnut brown and muted blue threads. Each tree is individually hand-painted (not stenciled) in tones of olive greens, golds and brown. Stitches used in this design include the satin stitch, stem stitch and couching stitch. The valley floor is appliqued (already cut and applied for you) and is ready for the couching stitch. Pictured with a decorate stem stitched hem, which is easy even for the beginning stitcher. The embroidery kit will arrive with an unfinished hem that can be completed by you with either a straight hem, decorative stem stitch hem or hand drawn hem stitch (I have a video on YouTube on completing a hem stitch). Finished dimensions are 14 inches wide by 42 inches long.
