The Cone Flower Table Scarf (finished size of 14" x 52") is an adaption of a design that was originally produced about 100 years ago. Offered here in the original color palette of orange, slate blue, and pale yellow; the table scarf is completed entirely in the satin stitch using pearl cotton thread. The short ends of the scarf are finished with a hand-drawn hem stitch. Allow 4 to 6 weeks for orders
Design specifics: Motif
measures 12" by 91/2"; distance between each
motif is 26 inches; with a design drop of 13" and the finished table scarf measurements is 14 "
by 52 ". Increasing the length of a table scarf is
easy. Note the distance between motifs; in this case 26 inches. If
you need a longer table scarf the additional length would be added to this area
. For example, if you would like the scarf for a 4-foot (48-inch) table
with the design dropping down the sides, then you would take your table
measurement (48 inches) and the design drop (13 inches times 2) add these two
together ( 74 inches), then subtract 52 inches (the original scarf length) , and arrive at a total additional length
of 22 inches. As a kit, the length can be increased for
.50 cents per inch. In our sample the additional costs would be $11.00
(22" x .50). As a finished scarf the cost is $1 per inch, and
would be an additional $22.00 (22" x $1) in our example. Specify
