The Water Lily Pillow is an original design that plays with distinct plains of being including: an above-water area with lily and lily pads; a water surface area; and an underway area. The sweeping Art Nouveau lines of the stems connect the separate plains and become one at the earth's surface. Hand embroidered and worked in pearl cotton thread on Pasadena Flax using the satin stitch, stem stitch, long and short stitch, French knots, and includes areas of padded embroidery. Finished size is 18"x21" and includes a 90% feather/10% down pillow form.
