The Prairie Pillow iis stitched by hand, with the design focused on simple, straight geometric forms and lines present in the Prairie style. The finished pillow is 23" by 23" (measured seam to seam - as stuffed the pillow occupies approximately 20 inches of space with plenty of room within a Morris chair) and is created on 100 percent Belgium heavy weight linen in a camel color. Thick size 3 DMC pearl cotton (not floss) thread in rust are stitched within the "cross" while ochre yellow is worked in the satin stitch within the center squares which are then outlined in brown. Green thread is used to work the stem stitch through the center design. Heavily stuffed with a 26-inch feather/down pillow insert (made in America) this pillow is sure to provide great support.
