Oak & Acorn Pillow

Hand embroidered on a beautiful heavyweight olive green linen which is treated with a stain repellent during manufacturing.  Acorns are padded then worked in the satin stitch with low lights of golden tan thread. The acorn tops are brimming with French knots worked in muted colors of tan, sage and gold.  Four oak leaves swirl around the center motif in varying shades of green worked in the long and short stitch. Additional swirls of color are worked in a golden tan using the stem stitch. Finishes at 20"x 20" and filled with a 22" down/feather pillow form.
